I have been involved in real estate marketing for as long as I can remember.  My parents published real estate magazines for coastal New England beginning in the early 90s. From the age of six, I often helped pick magazine covers from several slides on a lightbox with a magnifying loop because “you have a good eye and you don’t overthink” according to my mother. The seed at the root of my passion for photography was planted…

 

As soon as I could drive at 16, I began photographing real estate for the magazines armed with a cumbersome, Canon film camera with multiple lenses and flashes. I attended Plymouth State University where I took dark room photography classes and graduated with a degree in Communications. I worked in sales after graduation, all the while participating in the magazine business and honing my photography skills. Drones were becoming an intricate aspect of real estate marketing and I was intrigued! By then, I had been contemplating a career in photography so I invested in my first drone in 2013, top-of-the-line 35mm professional digital cameras and accessory equipment. Ball Turret Photography was established in 2014! Over the years I have photographed and videoed premier listings in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut for such agencies as Sotheby’s International Realty, Compass Real Estate, William Raveis Real Estate and many more.

 

My influential grandfather firmly believed, “Choose a job you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life.” I'm truly fortunate that the seed planted all those years ago grew to be a job I love.
